Cahors, France

My philosophy is to understand how to make the best grapes in the field. If you understand that, then in the cellar…it’s perfect.
— Bertrand Gabriel Vigouroux

A Family Winemaking Tradition

Since 1887, the Vigouroux family has passed a love of wine across generations, building a reputation as one of the finest producers in France. Since 1971, they have planted vines on a Cahors slope – a vineyard during the Middle Ages – and now produce sought-after wines in Cahors and across Southwest France.

The family behind the Georges Vigouroux winery celebrate the art of life. They believe that gastronomy, sharing, well-being, self-enjoyment, and discovery bring out the very best in oneself and a life of joie de vivre transfers love into every bottle of wine they craft.
